We are excited to have someone as enthusiastic and dedicated to the causes that FedSoc supports as our leader this year.

Vice President: Stephen Edelblut

Stephen Edelblut is a 2L from Wilton New Hampshire. He is passionate about law, economics, and philosophy. This past summer, Stephen worked for Nixon Peabody, an AmPhil top second 50 firm doing Corporate work and continues to work for NP’s Boston office in the Complex Disputes group. Stephen was first introduced to Federalist Society as an undergraduate and hopes to strengthen the society at Suffolk, encouraging discussion from both sides on the place of Originalism and an emphasis on Constitutional limitations in today’s jurisprudence.

Treasurer: David Sausto

David is a rising 4L, a Boston College graduate, and a former member of Suffolk’s Law Review.

This summer, David worked for a large law firm in Boston in their corporate group. Following graduation and passing the bar exam, David will continue with the firm full-time as a transactional lawyer. Outside of law school he enjoys sports – whether it be playing basketball and baseball or watching the New York Mets.

David is most looking forward to assisting the E-Board with making the most of our budget, so that we can plan as many speakers and events as possible!

Secretary: Ryan Thomas

Ryan is a 2L who studied government and history as an undergraduate at Suffolk University. This summer he worked as a legal research assistant with an emphasis on title work and historical preservation. Outside of Suffolk, you can find Ryan running, playing basketball, and catching up with friends.

Ryan is most looking forward to assisting the E-Board with planning events that address a wide variety of issues in the law.

Vice President of Membership: David Ospina

Vice President of Communications: Nicholas Tagg

Nicholas Tagg is a 2L at Suffolk law. He was fortunate enough to be chosen to join the Journal of High Tech Law as a staff writer. Prior to coming to law school Nicholas graduated from Boston college where he earned a B.A. in Political Science and Economics, in addition to rowing in the Men’s Club rowing team. After college Nicholas spent two and a half years working in the legislature as a legislative aide for Shawn Dooley and Marcus Vaughn, both of the 9th Norfolk district.

When Nicholas isn’t studying in the library you can find him cooking up a good meal, going to the gym, or talking about House of the Dragon with friends.
